Derek Bruce, Leisure Club Manager

I have worked in the industry for 10 years upon completing my HND Fitness Health & Exercise, I have steadily progressed my career to allow me to progress into my 2nd Management Position. I have also enjoyed a successful part of my career in Personal Training and Group Exercise Instruction. My aim is to continue to develop the club while our members and guests continue to enjoy using our facilities. Ryan Hamilton, Supervisor

I am a qualified Level 3 personal trainer with an HNC in Exercise, Health and Fitness. I have been in the fitness profession for just over a year and have also been taking my own bootcamp classes in that same period. In my spare time I play rugby for Musselburgh RFC and am also a 3x Scottish champion in Karate.

Andrew Millar, Personal Trainer

Hi I’m Andrew, I am currently a Level 3 Personal Trainer at the Edinburgh Marriott Fitness Club. I have been gaining experience within the gym for the past 3 and a half years working with Marriott, with the last 6 months I have been focussed on PT. I do a lot of functional training to get the best results from my clients ranging from weight-loss to hypertrophy. If you ever need your programme changing just catch me around the club and ask for help.

Grant Belcher, Fitness Instructor

I am currently qualified to Level 2 Fitness Instructor in Gym, Circuits and Exercise to Music; I am also currently working towards my Level 3 Personal Trainer Certificate. I take part in various sports and fitness activities allowing me to train my clients in either a sporting or fitness background to give sessions a unique blend tailored towards their goals and aims. Michael Fotheringhame, Personal Trainer

I am a Level 3 Personal Trainer. I love Football and Martial Arts, I play for a local football club and have competed at Martial Arts at Scottish and British National levels. I also have had a past career as an Infantry Soldier in the British Armed Forces. I like to use these experiences to tailor my sessions to be fun and intense to gain results for our boot campers and clients. Scott Drummond, Fitness Instructor

I am currently the newest member of the team having moved from the hotel reception to the club in September 2016. I am a REPS Level 2 Gym instructor and a REPS Level 3 Personal Trainer. My main focus is strength training and I am looking at continued personal development in nutrition, mobility training and sports based exercise. I love the outdoors and have an extensive background in animal biology and martial arts having practiced Taekwondo for 7 years and even competed at the UK and European level.
