Burns Night - Sweet Delight

As you may or may not know, Scotland will be celebrating the life of the famous poet Robert Burns on Saturday. With this in mind the Aberdeen Marriott Leisure team would like to share a recipe with you. It is for one of the most traditional Scottish desserts, Cranachan.

It is very quick and simple to make, you will need the following:

60g of Oatmeal...
150g of raspberry coulis
4tblsp malt whiskey
4tblsp honey
600mls double cream (for a healthier option replace some of double cream with greek yogurt)

Mix all of the ingredients together, share it out into a medium sized wine glass and decorate it how you like. It is best served with shortbread and a glass of whiskey.
