Fitness Tip of The Week

The knees are the most easily injured part of the body.
 The largest and most complicated joint, the knee is used for everything from standing up, sitting, to walking, running, etc.
Here is 3 ways to help improve and prevent instability in this area,
  • Stretching will alleviate tightness and lower the risk of pain in the knee area, stretching on Quadriceps hamstrings gluteus and hip flexors is essential.
  • Avoid high impact movements; instead choose the cross trainer, bike or swimming.
  • Strengthen the knee muscles by resistance movements like squats, lunges and 6 inch step downs
