Dear All,

I am delighted to inform you that we will be receiving a defibrillator at Dalmahoy in April 2016. This is through an incentive with St Johns and The Scottish Golf Union, where every club in Scotland who hosts a major SGU tournament in 2016, will receive this life-saving piece of equipment.

As we are hosting the prestigious Scottish Area Team Championships in September, we are 1 of 22 clubs in Scotland who will receive this. Defibrillators cost approximately £2,000, and it is fantastic news that we will have one of these on site from April. Given our location this defibrillator will help save lives (if the unfortunate happens), while we wait for the emergency services to arrive. Full training will be given, and our own appointed First Aid Trainer Craig Aitchison, will include this in all his first aid courses going forward with our associates.

It is a very simple piece of kit to use and will also give peace of mind to all our members and the many guests who stay with us throughout the year. Please see the link below which will give you a little more information.

Thank you

Iain Foote Director of Leisure
